Supply and Installation of a Solar Energy System

UPA is currently implementing the project titled “Solar Energy at the Elderly Home in Ramallah” and invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders legally registered in Palestine and authorized to supply, install, test, commission, and hand over solar energy systems. Bidders must demonstrate previous experience in similar projects.
The solar energy system shall be supplied, delivered, installed, tested, commissioned, and handed over at the newly built Elderly Home in Ramallah (Al Jadwal area, Al Tireh, next to Ziad Abu Ein School – Ramallah). The bidder shall be fully responsible for all costs, procedures, permits, transportation, labor, equipment, civil, mechanical, and electrical works required for the successful completion of the project, in accordance with the bid document, technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), and contract requirements. In addition, the successful bidder shall be responsible for issuing a zero-VAT invoice, where applicable.
Interested bidders are encouraged to attend a site visit and thoroughly review the Bid Documents before preparing their submissions. The site visit is scheduled for Tuesday 7 July 2026 at 10am at the project location.
Bids will be evaluated based on compliance with the technical requirements, bidder qualifications, delivery schedule, and financial competitiveness. Notes:
- Interested companies are required to conduct a site visit and thoroughly review the bid documents. The site visit is scheduled for Tuesday 7 July, 2026, at 10:00am at Elderly Home in Ramallah (Al Jadwal area, Al Tireh, next to Ziad Abu Ein School – Ramallah)
- Bid bank guarantee with 5% of the bid value should be submitted in hand at UPA’s office in Ramallah on or before the deadline of bid submission. A scanned copy of the bank guarantee should also be included in the bid documents submitted via email.
- Means of bid submission: One soft copy by email to bids@upaconnect.org, and one hard copy in a sealed and stamped envelope to UPA office in Ramallah.
Deadline for Bids Submission: On or before Thursday 16 July 2026, at 12:00 Mid-Day, Palestine time. Note: In any way, late bids will not be accepted.
