The girls of today make the women of tomorrow, and UPA strives to ensure that each Palestinian girl has what she needs to have a rewarding childhood and a productive adulthood. UPA’s programs start at an early age; we have made an impact on thousands of Palestinian girls by renovating their schools, providing them with psychosocial support, and offering numerous recreational and cultural activities to help them grow and thrive in a safe environment. UPA’s Mahmoud Darwish Scholarship Fund has enabled young women to pursue a higher education and land the career of their choice, and UPA’s Small Business Development program has assisted women in making their small businesses more profitable.

Through its programs,  We have supported the young and old amongst them, and we will continue to do so as long as it is needed. On the International Day of the Girl, we stand with the organizations all around the world that empower girls and enable them to fulfill their potential.
