Gaza Hospital Temporarily Restocked

Last week, Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitteh, a surgeon volunteering at Al-Awda Hospital in Gaza said the hospital is in desperate need of vital medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.

To address this immediate need, UPA purchased the necessary pharmaceuticals and consumables from the local market and delivered them earlier this week. These medical supplies are enough to last one month—during which Al-Awda Hospital, a longtime UPA partner, will be able to help hundreds of people with this shipment. However, when these supplies run out, we want to ensure that Al-Awda is not abandoned.

To address this, UPA will be airlifting 2 containers of pharmaceuticals and hospital consumables to the region in the coming days.  To procure, ship, and distribute these two containers, we must raise $50,000 over the next two weeks.

Please forgive me for burdening you yet again during this blessed month. I feel compelled to reach out to you again to ensure that the people of Gaza are properly cared for during this time of crisis.

Please make a donation to the UPA Emergency Relief Fund today and help keep vital medical supplies in stock tomorrow.

Your generous donations will help us show the people of Gaza that they are not forgotten.

With gratitude,
