July is National Cleft & Craniofacial Awareness & Prevention Month in the United States, and we would like to highlight UPA’s Embracing Life Program. The program is expanding the capacity of local Palestinian doctors by providing them with professional training to perform complex craniofacial surgeries. UPA constructed a surgical unit in 2016 at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah. Medical procedures are conducted in the surgical unit, which consists of operating and recovery rooms. UPA has been supporting Ramallah organizations for over 41 years.
