New bus provides safe rides for Palestinians with special needs
UPA helped purchase a new bus for An-Nahda’s Women’s Association, a long-time UPA partner based in Ramallah. The Association offers educational, cultural and rehabilitation programs that work with Palestinian children and adults with special needs.
Reliable transportation was desperately needed to ensure safe commutes for the children and adults who travel to the center daily. These children and adults with special needs are often marginalization from society and lack full access to education, health, rehabilitation, and training programs.
Now, An-Nahda can continue helping its community by providing proper accessibility so Palestinians in need can take full advantage of its services.
