Another critical component of the Embracing Life Program is providing facilities that nurture the creation of multidisciplinary teams and provide dedicated space for physician training, surgical procedures and ongoing care. UPA has completed construction of the ELP Surgical Unit at Al-Shiekh Zayed Hospital in Ramallah and has plans to construct a similar facility in Gaza, in partnership with a local hospital. These will serve as central locations for comprehensive craniofacial care, training and research.

Additionally, UPA has partnerships in Lebanon and Jordan that will serve as launching pads as the program is expanded throughout the region.
