SUPPORT UPA’S EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND

For children growing up in Palestine today, crisis is the norm. When every day is marked by the hardships of occupation, it can be hard to tell the difference between bad and worse. But the communities we serve have no doubt that right now is a crucial juncture in the safety of the Palestinian people.

After deadly raids in the West Bank and bombings in Gaza, Palestinians are bracing for continued assaults on their homes, hospitals, and schools. According to the UN office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), 187 Palestinians, including 35 children, were killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank and Gaza last year, the deadliest year in nearly two decades. With violence already escalating, this year is set to break those devastating records once more.

No one should have to live under the constant threat of violence. But since Palestinians do, we make sure that we are always ready to act. UPA has been responding to emergencies for 45 years. We were there when previous emergencies occurred, and we will be present when the next one arises.

UPA’s Emergency Relief Fund enables us to rapidly respond to crises by providing urgent aid and long-term support to expand the capabilities of medical facilities. Your support will enable us to supply local hospitals in Palestine with medications and consumables that empower first responders to do what they do best – save lives.

Palestinians work tirelessly to protect their communities, but immense need combined with the scarcity of medical resources makes it impossible for them to overcome crises on their own. Together, we have the power to bridge that gap. Every donation to the Emergency Relief Fund helps secure access to life-saving aid when Palestinians need it the most.

Occupation degrades, isolates, and demoralizes people. We will not abandon innocent lives at risk. Help us stand steadfastly by Palestinians in their time of need.
