Aid to Gaza continues

This week, UPA procured another shipment of pharmaceuticals for a local hospital in Gaza. For 40 years, UPA has responded to the ongoing emergency needs of the Palestinian people. Last year, when violence broke out in Gaza and the local medical sector declared an emergency, UPA responded.

At the time, UPA quickly purchased medicines and consumables from the local market to aid Gazans injured during the Great March of Return protests. Today, the future for Palestinians remains unclear.

“We believe that providing pharmaceuticals continuously will save lots of lives…and treat Gazans who are affected by the continued crisis in Gaza,” said Akram AlMajali, hospital coordinator, Jordanian Field Hospital in Gaza.

UPA has procured, shipped and distributed over $30 million worth of vital medical supplies to Gaza.
