Mobile Library comes to Lebanon

Through a grant from UPA, Arab Resource Center for Popular Arts, a longtime UPA partner, developed an educational mobile library project to serve children in the refugee camps of Lebanon. The project provided educational films and daily storytelling activities, enhancing the children’s learning experience.

The short-term goal of this project was to provide a safe space for Palestinian refugee children residing in marginalized areas of Lebanon, allowing them to exercise their right to knowledge and recreation while building the capacities of local organizations. The long-term goal was to improve the overall psychological and social well-being of children in these camps. This project benefitted over 230 children and lasted for one year.
