Train with Team Iqraa!
We are looking for the next class of aspiring and or current runners–looking to raise funds for Palestinian students studying in the West Bank and Gaza.
UPA has partnered with the Iqraa running club since 2008 in the Washington, DC area to raise money for education projects in Palestine. Iqraa, which means “read” in Arabic, has trained runners—including beginners—to successfully complete the Prince William Half-Marathon or the Marine Corps Marathon or 10K.
Attend an upcoming information session to learn how you can train to complete a race that will help a Palestinian student finish their degree at a local university in Palestine.
The sessions will be held at the UPA DC office in Dupont Circle.
Metro Stop: Dupont Circle South
